Our team discovered chocolate makers Erik and Ariane Hansen at a local festival. We were instantly impressed with the quality of their chocolate, showcasing a complex acidity that highlighted origin characteristics so we had to bring some in to offer.
Our second collaboration bar with the team at DesBarres. We were thrilled with our collaboration bar from last year so we couldn’t wait to do another. This time Erik had been inspired by one of our seasonal coffees, Ruiru AA, a lovely washed Kenyan coffee. He decided to pair it with his Semuliki chocolate as it also comes from Africa. The coffee was was milled in with the chocolate to really incorporate it together seamlessly. Initially included with our 2024 Advent Calendar, it is now available for everyone!
