Ever wanted the chance to roast your own coffee?
This is a coffee roasting workshop intended for those with no prior experience. Our head of coffee, Boris Lee will provide the basic principles of roasting theory and guide you in roasting your own 350g of coffee. Afterwards you will have the chance to cup and taste the results together. Bring home your own roast!
Sessions will primarily be led in English but language accommodations for Cantonese can be available. Please email orders@hatchcrafted.com for any inquiries. The workshop will cover the following topics:
Foundation principles of roasting
Basics of green coffee
Stages of roasting
Cupping and sensory evaluation
Workshops will be held at our roastery in Markham.
